OVERVIEW
The sei whale is a baleen whale that inhabits most of the world's oceans, avoiding only polar and tropical waters. They are one of the fastest whales, reaching speeds of up to 30 miles per hour across short distances. Like other whales, sei whales prefer to spend the summer feeding in cooler waters before migrating to warmer waters to breed and give birth.
