OVERVIEW
The bottlenose dolphin is found worldwide in tropical and temperate oceans. They live in pods of about a dozen dolphins, learning quickly to communicate in the complex manner required to survive. Although dolphins are quite plentiful, they are threatened by fishery bycatch, coastal development and environmental degradation.
